CCO & FOUNDER · OctoGrab LIMITEDRonnie is the CCO and Founder of OctoGrab Limited, where he is leading the innovation and development of OctoGrab’s silicone grip technology designed to enhance performance across sport . He is also responsible for developing other products using OctoGrab’s patented technology and creating evolutions of it to improve efficacy further.
Ronnie is a Scottish sportsman, engineer and award winning inventor whose career spans elite level football, professional athletics and pioneering product innovation driven by science, creativity and performance. Ronnie is not just contributing to sport- he is redefining it.
Ronnie’s engineering background began to shape his thinking, he developed a creative approach to problem solving – seeing not just what exists but what should exist. He recognised that much of the sporting industry is driven by marketing rather than true technological advancement or scientific validation, and set out to change that.
His inventions have achieved international acclaim and been published in New Scientist Magazine. At the core of Ronnie’s innovation is his creative engineering perspective, heavily inspired by nature. He collaborates with leading universities to demonstrate the scientific provenance of his inventions

CEO & FOUNDER · OctoGrab LIMITEDMark brings over 30 years of experience in private equity and leveraged finance, having built his career helping companies scale, transform, and deliver strong commercial outcomes. These successes were driven by a clear focus on challenging existing business models, understanding customer needs, and executing change effectively.
In addition to his private equity career, Mark has worked closely with founders and growth businesses as a senior advisor. In these roles he helped shape strategy, build investor relations capability, and support successful capital raising.
At OctoGrab, Mark combines his experience in investment, strategy, and business transformation with a hands-on approach to product development and brand building. His focus is on creating a category-defining sports performance product, driven by a deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering practical, high-impact innovation.
